FirstNet Firmware Specific Notes

The following notes apply to FirstNet products (ICR-3241..-1ND and ICR-4461..-1ND) starting from firmware version 6.3.2, unless indicated otherwise.
Administrative User Account
Access via the root user for web or SSH logins is disabled. Use the admin account instead. The unique password for the admin account is printed on the router label.
User Scripts
GUI-based user scripts are not supported. Starting with firmware version 6.3.7, user scripts will be converted to Router Apps.
Warning
When upgrading to firmware versions 6.3.2 through 6.3.6, all existing user scripts will be permanently deleted.
Security Hardening
The following security settings differ from the standard router defaults:

| Wi-Fi security | WEP, WPA, and WPA2-TKIP are no longer supported |
| OpenVPN | Security levels 0 (Weak) and 1 (Low) are not allowed |
| HTTP | HTTPS-only access; TLS 1.2 or higher is required |
| MTU | Default MTU set to 1342 bytes |
| SNMP | Write access disabled; read-only access only |
FirstNet Router App
The core features of the FirstNet Router App have been integrated directly into the firmware. The Router App now focuses exclusively on security monitoring.
