In our efforts to further enhance security of our products we just released Security Guidelines. This Application Note provides recommendations for securing a cellular router and keeping it secure during installation, operation, maintenance and decommissioning.

The document contains a set of checklists to verify the router is optimized for highest security. Each checklist describes:

• Weakness that may arise from a misconfiguration or a residual risk related to the router operation;
• Default factory settings;
• Hardening guidelines to overcome the weakness or to mitigate the risk.
