Introduction
The SmartStart SL305 is an industrial cellular router designed for wireless communication in mobile networks using LTE Category 4 (Cat.4) services. By default, the router provides one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface, one RS-232 serial interface, one digital input and one digital output, and two SIM card slots.
The secure, password-protected web interface enables users to monitor detailed statistics, including activity logs, signal strength, and system logs. For guidance on first-time setup, refer to Initial Setup.

Product Label
The router has a product label attached to its enclosure. The label provides information for identifying the product, its hardware configuration, and its regulatory status.
The label always includes the following information:
- Product model and serial number.
- Manufacturing date (year and month).
- Power supply requirements.
- MAC address.
- Default password.
- Separate barcodes encoding the serial number and the default password.
- A QR code encoding the serial number and MAC address and, for cellular routers, the IMEI. The QR code is primarily intended to identify and register the router in the WebAccess/DMP remote management platform, but its encoded information can also be used for other purposes.
- Manufacturer identification.
Depending on the product model and configuration, the label may also include the following information:
- Hardware revision.
- IMEI (for cellular routers only).
- Applicable regulatory marks and symbols.
The exact label content depends on the product model, hardware configuration, and applicable regulatory requirements.
The router may also carry additional labels that provide more detailed information about specific interfaces or display additional certification or regulatory markings.
