S1 Routers are identifiable by the -S1 suffix in their part number and by an orange line displayed at the top of the web GUI. Conversely, non-S1 routers feature a green line in the same location.

The S1 Router platform offers a restricted set of configuration options designed to ensure compliance with specific security requirements. In contrast, non-S1 routers provide extensive configuration capabilities, allowing users to tailor the router's setup to a wide range of needs. The overall security level of a non-S1 router is determined by the user's specific configuration. Separate configuration manuals are available for S1 Routers and non-S1 routers.
